Who we are

Hello, and Welcome!

My name is Nicole, and I feel incredibly blessed to share a life filled with faith, family, and a deep love for nature. This year marks 12 wonderful years of marriage to my best friend and greatest supporter, Turk. Together, we have three amazing children—a son and two daughters—whom I have the privilege of homeschooling. Being able to guide their education while spending our days immersed in the beauty of the outdoors is a gift I never take for granted. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, or simply soaking in the wonders of nature, we strive to live a life deeply connected to the land and the blessings it provides. My love for birds, especially chickens, has been with me since childhood, but it was discovering the Swedish Flower Hen that truly captured my heart. Their sweet yet confident nature, striking beauty, and historical significance make them a breed worth preserving. With the unwavering support of my husband and my dear friend, Shelby, I made the decision to turn this passion into something greater. I have dedicated myself to curating a strong, healthy flock that embodies the best traits of this endangered heritage breed. More than just raising chickens, I hope to build a community of people who appreciate their charm, utility, and rich history. Through my work, I aim to share knowledge, encourage thoughtful stewardship, and bring a little more goodness into the world—one Swedish Flower Hen at a time. Thank you for being here and for sharing in this journey with me!

Best regards, Nicole
